    Can anyone recommend some good digital slr photography books for a beginner??
    Also looking for a good book on photoshopping?

    "Understanding Exposure" is probably the most cited book here.

    +1 for Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson, great book, well illustrated with fantastic images and clearly written.

    Just ordered it today! I believe 'Learn to see creatively' by the same author is another good resource.

    You should try ur library for books :)
    Or Easons have some great montly mags.
    just picked up one called 'Digital Camera' which came with
    free photoshop CD for the PC. (about 7euro)
