    Hi everyone i would like to go and buy a car from Germany but i don't how i can register as a new keeper anh how long does it take and what do i need to do to export the car out of the country?

    this is about buying a motorhome there, but most of it applies to cars too.

    As a matter of interest ...why are you buying in Germany? Cars over there are usually LHD and not that cheap either.

    Or is it an Irish car that someone brought over and now needs rid of? If so, it's most likely a scam and the car doesn't exist :D

    Just out of interest, did you see an ad for a particular car or is it a general question?

    The reason I ask is that there are alot of scams going around involving cars located in other countries and paying shipping companies. The cars do not exist, they take your money and you never hear from them again.
