Seeking a gym bag with separate "wet" compartment

Hey did a search for this here and in "fashion and appearance" but no joy - thought I might get a bit more infomation here!

I'm looking for a bag with a "wet compartment" of sorts that I can chuck my suit, cap, goggles and flip flops into. I tend to have my gym clothes etc in my bag too and I'm sick of everything smelling like chlorine by the time I get home.

Anyone know where I could get one in Dublin or online? I hate shopping! :p

EDIT: found this site mentioned on another thread, this seems good value - anyone have one of these? haven't ordered from this site before - what are they like?

I usually just chuck my stuff into a plastic bag inside my gym bag :) That bag you linked to looks really nice though. I've ordered loads of stuff (read way too much stuff) from Wiggle in the past and they've always been good.

    cheers Stark!

The old plastic bag trick leaves things a bit smelly when I invariably forget about them in the back of a warm car/in the hot press over a long weekend. I'm a little absent minded when it comes to things like that!

I think I'll give that bag a try, I've spotted plenty of other nice things I'd like on there too so I'll have to try to show some restraint! :D

I haven't got one of these, but any other Aquasphere gear I have is excellent.

Try a surf shop as all the major surf brands do bags with wet compartments. (rip curl, quiksilver, etc...).

Better off with a plastic bad though. The bag will stink in no time.

thanks for all the replies - I saw that aquasphere bag got great reviews but it is very big - no way I'd be squeezing that into a locker! I went with the speedo one from wiggle in the end - also ordered myself 2 lovely new suits that were reduced on the site!

A lot of swimmers would use a mesh bag for their swim gear, to hold both their hats, googles, paddles etc but sometimes I've seen people use one for wet gear. I do when at galas, it's handy and it's small enough to fit into another gear bag.

Have a look at this one, it'll give you an idea of what I mean. This is from Allens Swimwear online but you can get these bags in a lot of the sports stores now, though perhaps not mesh ones but something similar.

I tend to put my wet gear into one of those bags you get for washing delicate items in a washing machine and carry it separate to the rest of my gear.

Hey, my Dad swims in the sea all year round.

I was thinking of getting him a bag with a wet compartment. I have seen one before that had a waterproof mat incorporated into the bag. I think it looked kind of like a record bag - so when you flip open the top, you can put your feet on the mat instead of on the cold ground and then throw your wet togs into the waterproof bag.

I'm struggling to find what I am looking for online - does anyone have such a bag? I am pretty sure this is something I would have to get online, but if there is a shop in Dublin that I could check out for this, I would be obliged if you could point me in the right direction.
