Monday Nights - What Happened?

    Does anyone remember a few years ago that Monday nights on rte2 were genuinely very good, there was the likes of friends, the panel, etc. It was the only decent night of television on rte...

    Now we have RAW (ok), Fr. Ted (v.old), How Low Can You Go (brutal), Langerland (equally brutal) and the decent looking Mad Men is shunted away @ 11.45

    I've come to accent long ago that RTEs scheduling department are based in the monkey cage in Dublin Zoo. Thank Christ for the Internet ;)

    Since Friends finished, and rebranding from Network 2 to RTE Two they have gone downhill. Also they don't have Scrubs on Monday nights anymore.

    True, the change to 'RTE Two' seems to have been the last straw. Then again, the RTE's aren't much good any other nights of the week either... :rolleyes:
