Mixing Desk to Laptop

How do I hook a mixing desk to my laptop? We're gonna be in rebel later and would like to record some of our stuff, the mixer there doesn't have a firewire port which is how I did it with the last desk I used. There is an L + R out, just not sure what I do with them, do I need an interface or something?
