Working after college

I have a part-time job and I work from 6pm to 10pm, Mon to Fri (sometimes I have a day off during the week and work a Sat). I'll be starting DIT Kevin St. this year as a fresher.

Just wondering is there anything I can join, clubs or societies, that would be worthwhile as I wouldn't be available after college?
I wanted to have a go at martial arts in some form don't know if I'll be able to do it though...:(

    Hey how is it going?

Tracey Flinter here from the Students Union! There are plenty of things you can get involved in, the Students Union run activities during the day and so do many other Soc's like paint balling and so on. As for the sports side of things most of them are run during the evening for more info check out www.ditsports.ie

It's jam packed with info on all sports and clubs that you can get involved in!! :D

    Hope it's of some help!

Thanks for the info, very much appreciated! I may be able to get a night off work during the week and work a Sat, they seem to welcome voluntary weekend work!

Out of interest, what does your work involve? People told me that telesales work is easy and it's the best type of work for a student, but I doubt it.
Am I right or am I wrong?

I'm quite happy where I work now, but the work is in Dundalk and there's no way I could combine it and studying, as I travel to college :X.
