PS3 LAN?

    Anyone know how to set up the LAN on cod4 on ps3 to play against a friend.

    Do both ps3's need to be connected to the same router or directly to eachother with n Ethernet cable?

    I just put them both into the same router. It gets laggy on online.

    yeah me and giggsy664 did it, with 2 ps3 and 2 tvs on the same router but every other time i do it theres never any games
