Going to register with a new site that is anything but ipoker - don't like the software

    Looking for decent rakeback

Already play stars and full tilt

Mainly play stt and mtt $10 - $50 buy ins but going to start playing cash at micro limits and hopefully move up when br permits

    Recommendations appreciated

Stars and Tilt are widely considered to be the best software.

I don't like micrgaming software, but there are good deals there.

If you don't use a hud then Cake is the place to be with 33% rb.

No RB offers in thread, take it to PM, everyone knows the rules by now.

I'll leave the thread open for a while to see if anyone has any other help for the OP, but if it starts turning into a pimp fest it'll be locked.

I'm not offering him rb (unlike your sig). I am not an affiliate.

33% is the standard for Cake from all affiliates.

It was a general comment to remind everyone of the rules of the forum, (believe it or not everyone doesn't read the Charter before posting), wasn't aimed at you in particular.

Sigs are allowed, again it's in the charter. If people want RB or are offering it they put it in their sig, again long established and well known rule of the forum.

Now back on topic. (again a general comment not aimed at you solely)

fair enough. Sorry if I overreacted.
You can have one link and it must contain the text of the link its going to bring you to. For example: if you link is going to bring the user to www.irishpokermadhouse.com then the text must be that URL. It may not be "Click here for the biggest freeroll ever!!"
Nor can it be "CLICK HERE FOR RAKEBACK!!!"

    Finished??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 938 ✭✭✭Grafter

If, by finished, you mean screen captured your childishness, then yes.

I'm a genuine poster who attempted to answer the original question genuinely, with no thought of personal gain.

You're the one who is saying that no one (except you) can offer rakeback and that everyone (except you) has to stick to the rules.

Get off your high horse. I have no axe to grind.

I enjoy posting and reading here. Why are you taking this approach?

Calm down man, everyone is allowed Rakeback links in their sig not just Ste.
He wasnt even getting on your case when he posted first.

Do you read my Apology (albeit including the rules) as provocative?

Would you react well to "finished?"

I've had this sig for years, everyone has seen it, so I doubt you need to worry about your Screenshots. If it means that much to you though I'll change it, but this is the end of the matter, PM me or take it to feedback if I caused you as much offence as you seem to be taking.

I'll leave this thread open for a while to see if anyone wants to help the OP, but the general warning stands. Use your sigs and there's no discussing RB on boards.

I'm not looking an argument. No need to get a team onto me.

I accept that a rb sig such as http://www.rakeupdate.com/signup/Ste05 is fine.

(I live in the North. I have a problem with being told the rules by people who make up their own and break them when it suits them :D:D:D :pac::pac: :):) nuff smilies?)

OK. We all got your point, I've changed my sig now.

This is the last warning, get back on topic (which isn't my sig!).

No talking about RB or offering RB on boards. Stick to sigs.

    OK, here goes.

Poker site traffic is here http://www.pokerscout.com/

Full Tilt is biggest 27% RB (contributed) is standard

Stars is 2nd. No RB. Loyalty scheme varies from buttons to better than RB, depending how much you play.

ipoker is 3rd. For seriously high volume (full ring) players, GJP is unbeatable. For short handed, NoIQ may be better. For smaller volume/stakes, Paddy Power, Victor Chandler, Boylepoker are all fine. Bonuses and cashback/loyalty schemes (which replace RB) are dealt.

Next is Party. Allegedly soft games. No RB.

Then Ongame. Continuous bonuses instead of RB. Contributed so better for loose or shorthanded players.

Next Everest. Haven't played there recently. Clunky software, no RB, soft opponents but high variance because of any two card syndrome.

IPN/Boss No recent experience. Contributed RB. Was soft when I last played there.

Cake. I like. Dealt RB. No huds.

Crypto. Cracking bonus + dealt rb deals for nits. poor and getting worse traffic.

Entraction or Boss if I'm correct. You have 2 choices. I recommend Devilfish. I have only tried Entraction though. You'll get a good deal from karl and the site is full of idiots. Well when I last played. I can annoy karl with various requests too which is a bonus.
