    I realise this subject has been talked to death but i remain unclear on the matter, so i apologise.

    is 53% considered an honours degree. i'm aware it aint impressive but is it technically still an honours???

    p.s sorry for accidentally posting this question in the film forum. i'm new to boards.

    Different colleges - Different classifications. Indeed different courses too.

    Check with your college.

    it's classed as a 2nd grade 2:2 or something like that. it seems to be that way in TCD, UCD etc. i suppose i'm just looking for confirmation from someone.

    It is not uniform across all the colleges/all the courses.
