Running Coach

    Hey All,
Long time lurker - first time poster. I've decided to give triathlon a go and I'm going to start training soon. I'm ok for the bike and swimming but have no experience running whatsoever and I'm considering getting a coach for a one-off lesson or two to get my technique right from the beginning to avoid shin splints etc.

Do any of you know of a good running coach based in Limerick?

    Many Thanks
    Tri-Newbie:D

P.S I've gotten the right type of running shoes so I'm ready to go.

Instead of getting a coach why dont you think of joining an athletics club, dont worry they cater for all levels of experience and age and people are more then happy to give advice and information

You could also look at joining your locat tri club and train with them they will also give you good advice in some of the area's that the athletics club migth not i.e transistion from bike to run and training for this

    Thanks rasco1975,
There dont seem to be too many coaches about and google hasn't given me much either so it seems as if I'll have to join a tri club earlier than I thought - I wanted to get a little fitter before going to a group training thing where I'll be puffing and wheezing after 2k.
