    Hi,
I am looking into claiming rent relief at the moment and was wondering if i can claim rent relief for when i was a student and working part time over the last few years?
    Any help would be appreciated

If you were working part time it's unlikely that you paid any income tax so you wouldn't be entitled to any refund. Do you have any P60s from these years? This will tell you if you've paid any. Alternatively, if you call the Revenue (do it first thing in the morning as soon as their lines open) they'll tell you.
