If you go into tools and internet options, delete history, cookies, files etc- is there any record of what you had been viewing left on computer hard drive or anywhere, thanks

    In theory, No.

However specialist Software can Be used to Retrieve files/settings from a Hard-disc.

TBH the only sure way to make sure a Hard disc is completly Wiped of personal detail/Files and folders is to Destroy the HDD.

Chrome has a unique serial number in each copy. You can delete all the cookies etc you like. Makes no difference. The serial number remains.

Google mail, google documents, google everything...... all connected. One objective to track and record virtually everything you do online.

One has to ask who is paying for this, and why?
