    Hi,

I got a new CD about a week ago and my iTunes will not recognise it at all. You know you normally put the CD in the drive and it comes up in iTunes automatically? I got nothing. It's the same when I try to open it with Windows Media Player. The computer recognises it as a audio cd but won't play anything from it or allow me to copy it onto the PC.

I've un-installed and re-downloaded iTunes but that made no difference. I've also tried the CD in a different PC and it worked fine and I've tried other CDs in my PC and they have worked fine. So I am completely at a loss.
The CD is the new Slipknot album, if that makes any difference.

Is it just that cd??If it is, you could just import the songd on another pc and transfer the files with a usb stick

I was connected to the internet and that didn't seem to make any difference. The PC recognises it as an audio CD but won't play it or open it with any programmes.

I will try the USB idea (thanks!) but it'll be a pain in the arse if I've to rip my CDs to another computer before I transfer it to my own.

Sounds like it's only that particular CD. :)
