    prize fighter anyone interested?

i like the format and its a good laugh,,

a tip for the betting people, put a few quid on chris burton, he's a good prospect and should be far better than the rest here, pele reid as an outside chance too!

I think it's a great little idea and one the general public can get into aswell as the usual boxing fans.

The second prizefighter is again at Heavyweight and although the level of competition is looking a little lower this time it should still be a great tournament.

    The draw went like this:

    Dave Ferguson v Luke Simpkin
    Chris Burton v David Ingleby
    Sam Sexton v Pele Reid
    Lee Swaby v Darren Morgan

Burton probably is the best pick to win but I haven't been that impressed with him, I think Sexton would be a good choice but he's drawn a very hard fight in Pele Reid in the first round. Reid is capable of beating anyone there but I don't reckon he'd go the 3 fights without getting knocked out.

    Previous bouts against each other:
Ferguson: Has beaten Dave Ingleby on points twice over 4x2 min rounds

Luke Simpkin: drew with Pele Reid over 4 round.
Stopped in 5 by Sam Sexton.

Chris Burton: stopped Dave Ingleby in 3 rounds.
Beat Lee Swaby on points over 8 rounds but was shaken by Swaby at one point.

Ingleby: losses to Ferguson and Burton as shown above.

Sam Sexton: Win over Simpkin as above.
Beat Darren Morgan on points over 6.

    Pele Reid: drew with Simpkin

Lee Swaby: Lost to Burton on points in hard fight.

Morgan: Lost to Sexton in 5.

    Best win:

Dave Ferguson: Probably the second win over Ingleby, or else Billy Bessey

Luke Simpkin: Either his stoppage win over Paul Buttery or Carl Baker, draw with Pele Reid is his best result.

Chris Burton: Paul Butlin or lee Swaby

    Dave Ingleby: Paul Butlin

Sam Sexton: the win over Simpkin or Morgan

Pele Reid: Either Joseph Chingangu or Wayne Llewellyn, there's no doubt he has the two best wins here after Swaby.

Lee Swaby: Enzo Maccarinelli, it was early in Enzo's career but Swaby starched him none the less and it's certainly the biggest scalp any of these guys have taken.

    Darren Morgan: Tony Booth

Should be another great nights boxing, personally I can't wait for the Welterweight version. Some quality names are in there.

Hey Paul there was a post in the fitness forum the other day by a Paul Cowzer with 1 post. Thought it might be you with a new user name, but your still posting under your own user name. Just a heads up in case it's someone acting the Bollo*
