    ...I've been registered in college?

last proper work was January 2005,
    - largely due to being registered in college until September 2007.

been told I've no credit built up to entitle claiming the Dole. So I'm wondering whether this is excusable if I've been registered in a college course.

    please help!

There are student credits. Not sure on the conditions though.

Ring the revenue, you are allowed some stamps from one year of college but only 1 year.
I don't have a link for it but a bit of googling might help.
