I've just taken 10 days off ( to get rind of these shin splints for good).and about to start the next phase of training. My problems is that i'm going to be away on business for the next 2 week.

The area i'm going to is in the mountains, I have a few 5-6 mile runs mapped out , but would a 4-5 mile hill run be able to replace some of my 7-8 mile runs?
Problem is its all road or hrad ground when i'm unded to train on grass, i would need to travel 20 km to find a park and i don't think i'll have the time for that.
