I've had the PS3 for quite a time now, and Ice broadband to boot.
Initially, in wireless mode, I had trouble logging onto the PSNetwork, now the browser works fine but no downloads for me :(
I got my bro to rig up a wired connection and things inproved a tad, but it's still variable, working somedays, not on others, I have been unable to download updates for COD4 and GT5 Prolog, very irritating.

Any ideas here, is this a Sony problem or mine, if mine, what can I do?
Given that the 360 has no problems or the Wii for that matter.

The same thing kind of happened to me my downloads where going seriously slow, so was the internet so we rang BT and they said we exceeded the download limit so we where cut down to the lowest connection and they said our normal connection would not be back until August 27th and this was a week into August. The week after our normal connection was back so i'd advise you to ring your ISP and see if it's their fault.
