    Hey lads,

Was just wonderin will an AEG take any type of inner barrel even if its not named for that specific one.
(Obviously i know theres the diameter and lenght that will change)
What i mean is if you have a G36 with a 350mm 6.03 barrel and a barrel with the same dimensions but the box says its for for lets say an m4.
will it make a difference. Is it just that its designed to fit best in the m4 or can i be only used in the m4?

cool i thought as much was just curious how inner barrels are sorted according to AEG type instead of just lenght. suppose it just makes it easier. good to know though that other types can be used. One more thing, does it take much to change an inner barrel?

not really, g36 is reasonably handy to take apart. You'll need to take the lower receiver out and remove the hopup unit+inner barrel, then remove the inner barrel from the hopup unit and replace it with the new one. While your there i'd throw in a Guarder clear hopup rubber, they're quite good :)
