Tanaka M500 Cassiopeia gas type

Hey guys. Just a quick question because I can't find anything by googling.

Can the Tanaka SW M500 Cassiopeia take green gas? I've heard that pretty much any gas-operated airsoft gun is good with green gas here in Ireland due to the low average temperature, but I want to be sure since this thing is expensive. Or I'm cheap. Whichever it is... :)

Edit: There's so little information about it, this thread is now the sixth result on Google for 'Tanaka M500'. Hah.

It's not as simple as saying green gas in Ireland will give you sub 1J performance. It is true of many guns but there are some exceptions, particularly with sniper rifles. Unfortunately, especially with a brand that specialises in gas systems like Tanaka, it could be over the limit. Your best bet is to email the shop selling it and ask them to chrono it for you, but to also give you the temperature and humidity they chronoed it at. These are the factors that determine the difference in power it will be here. 328fps at 30 degrees Celsius and 328fps at 20 degrees Celsius are two very different things.

Unfortunately, it's the only way to know for sure with those systems.
