Should do, My 9400 inspiron ran the Creature Creator alrite, although I'm not sure if requirements between the two are the same, it should be simular I guess

Just select spore from the list of games and it will tell you how well your computer will perform.
Looking at your specs the only problem might be the graphics card which is the minimum needed
