Hi There! I just started course in B. Ed and psychology in Mary I and was wondering what job prospects are really like for primary teachers... I'm always being told that I could nearly "walk into a job" when i'm finished, but when I hear about all the positions being filled at present I wonder if there will be anything…

Hi There!
I just started course in B. Ed and psychology in Mary I and was wondering what job prospects are really like for primary teachers... I'm always being told that I could nearly "walk into a job" when i'm finished, but when I hear about all the positions being filled at present I wonder if there will be anything left in 4 years time! Will primary teaching go like secondary, making jobs as rare as hens' teeth?!
