Stolen credit card used to purchase monthly Luas ticket

    A friend had her credit card stolen while on the Luas yesterday.

    The thief used the credit card to purchase a monthly ticket before the card was cancelled.

    Can the Luas/RPA/Veola cancel this monthly ticket so that the scumbag doesn't benefit from the theft?

    would it not be better to contact veolia as they will be able to tell you

    Rather dumb thing to do, If it is a smart card the thief bought he/she is a sitting duck!! It wouldn't take much to track it down or have it cancelled. .
