Aer Lingus Site down?

    hi all, trying to book a flight for next thurs (11th) from Birmingham to Dublin. The Aerlingus site is down and has been since I tried yesterday. My only alternative is to book with Ryanair, and that costs €84 anyway, so for that money would rther fly with Aerlingus.

    Anyone got any info on the Aerlingus site or when it'l e back up and running? you can't even contact them via the webpage to ask.

    I am abroad at the moment, so phoning them to book isn't really an option.

    any help greatly appreciated!

    have you actually tried to make a booking? when I open the page it opens fine, but one you try to navigate elswhere, or search for a flight I cam getting an error message saying that the session has timed out!

    I can get right up to entering passenger information for a flight so I guess it is ok for me. Try clearing the internet files/cache on the computer you are on to see if it makes any difference.

    nope - still no go my end. dunno whats wrong. like this since yesterday, and i can't even get a price confirmed with skyscanner.

    Will have to try another portal, and just pay the additional fee for booking.
