I have Gore-Tex jacket & pants, its great stuff.
At my last skirm it rained all day, everyone was soaked, I was damp at my neck, wrists and feet. Winrar!

given the summer we have had and with the approach of winter goer tex is the best way to remain warm,dry, lets face it when lying on wet grass or under cover even in light rain normal BDUs are going to leave you feeling uncomfortable when wet or damp.

i have been on the lookout for some decent waterproof trousers/jacket ideally something like us woodland and ideally they would not be made of material that is too "noisy"

would people be able to post some websites/shops they have used? it would be a help

I got the full french goretex gear from protac at salute, they have a shop in the curragh,
its really nice gear and very durable. its also a close resemblance to the irish DPM for a legal alternative.,

flecktarn stock some new and used gortex gear at decent prices
