Tennis in Kilkenny

    Hi

Just wondering, does anybody know of any public tennis courts in Kilkenny? Googled and no joy, KilkennyCoco - no joy. I know there is the tennis club on the castle road, but I wouldn't mind picking up the racquet again and seeing if I'm still fit enough, before paying my 400 euro membership to the tennis club.

    Thanks

    J

Just drop down to the club, most people give a free day or so to see if you want to join.

Surely to god there's a court somewhere that people can go and hit the ball around for a while. a school maybe?

There used to be one at the church in Dunmore out the Castlecomer road. I know the place is still there but I don't know if there's still a net and stuff there.
