hey guys, anyone else have a firepod?

could they check something for me?

obviously its a budget interface (my monitors are budget too) so its a bit noisier than desirable. however i've noticed that if i plug my monitors into line output 1 and 2 rather than main "cr" output 1 and 2 theres not as much noise. can someone else check for me if all firepods are like this?

i don't mind plugging them in to line out 1 and 2 but it means that i lose volume control and have to adjust at the back of my speakers which is less than ideal. any ways around this? obviously in a daw i can control with the master fader but the issue is when i just want to listen to music or whatever.
