    Taking the lead from Cremo's excellent idea - Know your DITs 2008/9 - I also saw this on another college website, and think we should plagiarise it. :D Tae Kwon Do seem to have thought of it already.

    If you're involved with a Club/Society then use this thread to tell everyone what you do, why they should join, and what you have planned for the year.

    What do people think? Is it worth a thread?

    question for the club people

    Are there any sports clubs that train in linnen hall? (ie, bolton street based)

    Yes we train there, the archery club, well we did but now we have nowhere to shoot as the hall is being taken away from clubs and socs use.

    Im involved in a Club (See post about TeaKwon-Do)

    and Im also involved with a society... DYS_Soc

    DYS_soc is a socailty that has been set up for students with SLD's (Specific Learning Difficltys) like Dyslexia,Dyspraxia etc....

    We are based mainly in Kevin St- hence we will be attending the inductions for science and Engineering. WE do have plans for events in Bolton St also... Stay tuned

    some of our events for this year will include a night out in eary october for all members it will be free also... we're thinking Bowling and Qzar.. in November we will be having a high profile speeker who as recently been in the news.. more about this in time....
