I've recently started restoring my Majestic Major, she's in bare metal at the moment, have two doors rebuilt using stainless steel and working on the rear quarter panels at the the minute, here's a before and after and I'll put up some more photos as I progress if anyones interested.

Welcome back, you seem to have been missing a while!

That Daimler looks like it was fresh enough? Worn out wedding car?

    EDIT:
I notice the wipers are the "wrong way" for a British car like the way the 5 series and most french cars are.

I was on holidays since July, the Daimler was a funeral and wedding car in the 70's, a friend of my fathers owned it and when he died the car was sold off and I lost touch with it but kept looking for it as I always wanted to own it. About 10 years ago I tracked it down, it had been restored but was painted in the wrong colour and the bodywork was only fair tbh. I'm restoring it back to it's original colour and getting the bumpers rechromed and a few other bits and pieces sorted out. Its only done 26k miles since new and it's very solid for a 43 year old car.

Thats cool Junky, wondered where you were but figured you had a project on the go !

I read about those Daimler V8's in some magazine recently, a good article.

Should look brilliant when it's finished. Have you set yourself any targets on a deadline to get in finished?
