Are they all necessary? The increased subdivision of the television forums seems to have led to some pretty stagnant board sections. Is there a way users can adjust settings to eliminate the subdivision of the television boards?

Most of those forums are quite because their seasons are on a break. Not much to talk about when there is no episodes being shown. Once they begin again, the forums will pick up. I don't believe there is any setting like that but is it so hard to ignore the forums.

I dont want to ignore the forums, rather view all recent threads to do with all things television. The subsections serve a definite purpose in terms of cataloguing/archiving threads that have had their run and certainly facilitate quick and easy access to older threads relating to particular shows. Just think there is a disadvantage to having threads come to life in the subsections is all.

You could subscribe to all the forums that interest you and then use this page.

That sounds like it could work. How do I subscribe?

At the top of a forum, you'll see a link called "Forum Tools". Click that and then click the "Subscribe to this forum" link.

Yeah it's pretty handy all right. Subbed.php is the only way to use boards.
