he's not playing for a living, he's playing as a hobby. he plays €5 and €10 sit and go's. Sharkskope tells him his roi is 20%. Is that good or bad? His bankroll would be small.

I think for that kinda stakes, 20% is solid...as you start getting into the $100's and above you're looking at single figures.

20% would be excellent if he sustains it. Explain to him that he needs to have quite a large sample though and that he shouldn't get too excited till he has loads played

20% over 1000 STTs at $5-$10 is good ROI and a reasonable sample.
    But expect swings.

just tell him 20% is good, which it is. He doesn't want to hear about sample sizes and swings.

I have another question on ROI on sharkscope. Say you pay a ten dollar sitandgo which is broken down $10+$1 are the stats based on $10 or $11. I know this may sound stupid but if it was off $10 that would mean you would nees an ROI of %10 to break even

I have another stupid question about sharkscope.

How is it possible to have positive profit but negative ROI%?

I think I know how this would happen you could say play 20 10dollar sndgs and lose 130 bucks overall say, then you could play one 100 dollar sandg and win 500 bucks. overall you would be in profit but your average roi would be negative. Now how about someone answers my stupid question
