Does anyone have a phone number for the US embassy in Dublin, as the only one that I have is a premium rate number.

    Thanks.

Thanks but when I get through to make an appointment for a Visa interview it switches to premiun rate, its about €2.50 pm.

    That's part of the process!

If you want an appointment, you'll have to pay the bill.

Is this really so? Following the url that bedlam gave shows a number for the Visa Unit. Does it happen that if you call that number, they switch you over to a premium rate? I presume they tell you they are doing so, or orchidsrpretty would not know about it. How long might the call last (i.e. what's the damage likely to be)?

Yep they tell you to hang up and ring a 1580 number. I have already wasted €17 on this and have got no-where near setting a date for the interview:eek:
