I took some photos last weekend and wanted to upload them to photobucket. Some of them were in the wrong orientation when I imported them using iPhoto so I opened them (using preview), rotated them and saved them. However, they are now showing in their original orientation.

How can I make them stay in the correct orientation?
Sorry for the n00b question but I only got my MBP in Feb and hadn't used one before that.

Did you click the edit icon and rotate them that way or did you rotate them to view?
