    HI guys,
Just back from being abroad and ran nearly everyday. Have soarness around groin area now (which is different from what I've had before with groin injuries). I've made an appointment for it to be checked out, but not till Monday. Was just wondering if it was a stress fracture (which i hope not) would there be telling signs, swelling, redness, barely able to walk etc.
    Thanks.

I'm far from an expert but I thought stress fractures were normally in the legs, in particular the lower leg. What do you think you might have fractured in your groin (teh potential for this thread to de-rail into smutty jokes is very high, must resist....!)

    hi amadeus,
Yeah they are normally in the legs, but you can get a pelvic stress fracture as well. I'm just hoping it's not this, maybe the groin is just worse than usual.
Running in Berlin at end of month and training has been going brilliant till now.
Anyway, getting it checked out so will see then.
