Harbour House/First pistol shoot

    Hello all,

On the advice of a few previous threads, I decided to pay Harbour House Shooting a visit yesterday evening. Met with the owner Tommy O' Brien who showed me around and allowed me to shoot about 100 rounds from a .22 pistol.

I'm totally hooked! I filled in my membership application there and then. I've only ever tried clay pigeon shooting about 3 or 4 times and shot a .22 rifle once. I've attched a scanned copy of my target sheet which was shot from about 10m distance (signed by Tommy for prosperity :) )

Harbout House is a nice friendly setup and I'd recommend anyone looking for a shooting club in Kildare to pay them a visit.

    K.

Cheers Ned. Any advice on a particular pistol for a newbie? Don't want to spend a fortune but then again, buy cheap buy twice......

What was used was a Norinco .22, fine little gun, copy of the Colt Woodsman.

Great shooting for a person new to the sport, I am glad he is joining Harbour House!

That's the one alright! I'm not sure if maybe it was beginners luck my shots were consistent. However, we did go through 100 rounds. I'll have to just try again and see :)
