    Hi,

I am giving my pc to my father as I have bought a new one.

However, I want to format the hard drive back to factory settings just in case he can see what I've been looking at :))

Is there an easy way to do this myself or do I need to take it to a pc shop?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Ted.

Just downlaoad CCleaner (crap cleaner) and clean up all old files and nuke the registry. should do it.

that will clean all your history, previous pages and whatnot.

also, just uninstal any programs you wont need anymore.

its way way easier. and its a great little program. one of the few programs I always instal.
