Moved from shooting to militaria, you're more likely to get an answer here.

You should buy a replica uniform, just search online for reenactment gear.
British 58 pattern webbing is very close to the Second World War gear and is dirt cheap.

prodg, what does this shoot involve? Is it some sort of combat scene? Or do you just want someone dressed in 'walking out' uniform? ie is it just a uniform you are looking for, or also webbing, equipment etc?

What period is this shoot gonna be set in? Give us more details and we can direct you to very specific types of uniforms/equipment that will best suit that period.

it is a shoot being held in the midlands using vintage rifles from before the 1st world war and during it and also the 2nd world war and we have to wear costume, so the more effective the uniform the better the authenticity. I dont need webbing but would prefer us officer battle dress with rank markings
