Photos Windows Movie Maker

I have put about 400 photos to music using Windows Movies Maker on my laptop. I had hoped that the DVD or CD with the movie would play in an ordinary DVD player and it doesn't.

Is there something I can do so that the DVD can play on an DVD player or is this a dumb question?

If you have Windows Vista (Premium) http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/features/dvd-maker.aspx,
use the 'DVD Maker' program. It will accept both video files & pictures. You can then customise the music (order & length) to the amount of pictures you have. This then plays on a standard DVD player.

If you have just Win XP, then try the free program: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/GUI_for_dvdauthor
or DVD Slideshow if I remember correctly.
