Wifi Certs synced to iPhone

Anyone ever come across the wifi certs on a mac book being synced to an iphone when connected. A user here suddenly has access on his iphone to a WPA Enterprise network without importing the cert to his phone. He also seemed to pick up the exchange settings from entourage. Anyone ever come across the wifi certs on a mac book being synced to an iphone when connected.

A user here suddenly has access on his iphone to a WPA Enterprise network without importing the cert to his phone.

He also seemed to pick up the exchange settings from entourage.

If that is what happened, then i think there would be a security issue as it may not be his iphone he is connecting. Would all iphones pick up the settings etc.
