I posted a while back about being in two minds about going away for the weekend and leaving my 1yr old and my husband behind. Well i leave tomorrow morning at 9am and the nerves have already set in. As my baby's bedtime is approaching i'm already starting to miss him. I know i'm going to find the next 3 days so hard, i know it sounds silly..

I understand that it must be hard the first time but they'll be fine. How old is the child? Check out Parenting forum for more help and suggestions.

i have a 2 year old and i know exactly what your feeling!! but this will be good for you and your child, builds confidence and independence in him and you! your anxious and thats fine, ring your husband say 2-3 times a day to check if everything is ok.he will reassure you. the first minutes of leaving your house will be the worst , after that you should start to feel ok about it all.
if anything is wrong i'm sure your hubby will use his noodle. if anything this will be a bonding time for him and the baby! so its a good thing.
when i left my son with his dad when he was a baby,i was away for 3 days and i couldn't fully relax and i should have because he was fine and i shouldn't have felt anxious because he was with a person i can trust. he is his dad after all!!:):):)
