Hi. Going to be moving to Portlaoise soonish, and just wondering what people can tell me about Jessop Street. Is it safe to live there? Noisy?

Any info at all would be great.

    Thanks

Hey. I presume you've moved there at this stage. I'm considering renting there with my girlfriend and was wondering the same thing. It's close enough to the heritage hotel and the cinema so I would think it was a grand spot :)

Generally fairly riddled with scumbags at the weekends but a nice spot to live and the houses are decent.

Ah right. We're looking at getting a place in stradbrook. It's bit further from town but the flats are nice. Thanks though.
