    Its true.
    I have used one before, manual focus and pretty poor quality optics and build.
    Good craic though and it will turn heads. haha

    Actually.. I met someone, daughter works with National Geographic or something along those lines. They pay for 1/2 of her camera gear :eek:

    Anyway, they have a nikon equivilant of that, built into a boat with a mechanism to counter-act the bobbing of the boat.. pretty awesome! Used for whale identification..

    Noticed a fore and aft handle on the side in the shot, if you buy one you'll need another three people to lug it up the sugarloaf to finally scoop what the hell's going on in the upstairs rooms of Powerscourt House. I heard The Stig holidays there. :D
