vec grants ?

    Im curious when do u know u have your grant is a ther a letter sent out etc...Im geting kinda worried..my course start the 15th and ive had no word from my local vec :confused:

    They can get very very busy around this time and the easiest thing is usually to call them and ask about the situation. But be prepared, a lot of the time people don't have their grant before the start of the college term.

    Can depend on when you sent your grant application in. When I sent mine into CDVEC (22nd Aug) I was told it would take up to 20 working days. I got my response today.

    Hey, the same thing is happening to me.. I ve sent mine in just after the offers and they told me that i would hear from them in the middle of september or something...
    My college starts on monday.. so i m clueless of what to do... Dont know whether should i go in or wait until i see if i get a grant or not..

    I sent my application in on the 26...no word as of yet lol

    ...some ppl have mammy and daddy for money but i know i dont ive that grant ...

    Its not gona look well missing your first week but i might have to do the same yet ...:(

    Im not going to hear about my grant till 'at least the end of september' so says dun lao co co, but still going to go in to lectures. Its all a bit backwards, but what isnt? :rolleyes:
