Immigrating - mortgage interest relief?

Thinking of immigrating - but I will be keeping my existing house.
A little unusual situation - I have an older relative living with me in a sort of "granny flat" type arrangement - and she is a 50% owner of te house, hence the mortgage is in our joint names but paid in my name only.

She will of course be staying put. I'm looking at short term immigration - maybe 2yrs.

Now, as far as I'm aware, you only get the relief if its your principle residence. As such, it still will be - and the other mortgage holder is still there....... can I just let things be, and continue to receive the €150 odd rebate I get every month off the mortgage?

    Thanks a mil.
