Great video from a gig they did recently in London where they played by a swimming pool with speakers above and below the water.

Haha. It's cool how the sound was so clear underwater. And watching the people swimming about really adds to the surrealness of the clip.

Anyone heading up to DEAF to see Steve and co? Should be an interesting experience.

I'll be there with bells on. I saw them last year at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and it blew my mind. Stapleton mentioned in a recent review that they've something special planned for the DEAF show but wouldn't elaborate.

Sounds great :D It'd be so strange to be swimming underwater hearing all those sounds.

Yeah, I wish I could have gone. Apparently (as water is a better medium for sound than air) the music was far clearer underwater than above. Sounds like Matt Waldron whispering were indecipherable above water but crystal clear below.

Deadly. Is it just me though or is the audio on the video not working? Really want to hear this.

Is it better underwater because, it being a liquid, the particles are closer together therefore making it a better medium for the sound to pass through? Or have I just said something ridiculous on a public forum?

    I'm no hydro-acoustic expert but I believe you're correct.

Sound works fine for me A-Monk.

    Yup, they be fully funkti0nal.

I think that maybe taking out my earplugs during You Made Me Realise for MBV at the Electric Picnic may have had a bigger impact on me than I realised.

But I really want to hear this, I must try it on another computer somewhere! Maybe I can use the school computers and freak out a whole load of people in the process.....hmm.. sounds like a plan.

Well, if i'm gonna do it I may as well really hit the nail on the head and go all out with some Whitehouse. :p

But at least i've got nothing to lose though, it's not as if all my teachers and peers don't think i'm a big enough crackpot as it is. :)
The hard part though is going to be having to sneak into a computers class as i'm repeating and not doing computers....hrrrm.
