I'm thinking of buying an iMac and rather than spend €150 upgrading from 2GB to 4GB memory, I figure i could just buy 4GB from komplett for around €80. Just wondering is there any reason why I shouldn't do this? Apple don't specify the brand they use for the RAM in the iMacs, do they still make their own RAM? If so, I presume this would be better than buying 3rd party RAM?

That's great, thanks. Much cheaper than getting the upgrade in the Apple store!
