good picture, but I'm not sure if it's HDR ? The foreground, bridge and building itself all look very black...the sky is gorgeous though

it actually is.... Its composed of 2 shots....the problem is my laptop seems to have a brighter display than normal so those black areas look to contain detail on my screen.guess ill have to start using my external monitor......

For HDR's to work properly, you really need 3, 5, 7 or 9 shots to balance how much the image is underexposed and overexposed so you don't get any deep blacks or blown highlights.
You've got fantastic colours but its just missing the detail in the darker areas for me.

You can do a composite with one raw. I agree that there's too much contrast between light and dark.

Excellent. Love the contrast! For an HDR it is great. HDR's are usually unlookableat.

It looks really nice, a bit dark but that does make it different from other HDRs that can seem very unnatural.

For me the crop seems a little tight? It feels like it's missing part of the bank building as well as part of the lamp?

there was no crop im afraid.that was the widest angle I could get while keeping the composition i wanted....fisheye donations gratefully received. ;p

I like it, but not really sure if I'd classify it as a HDR...

    Nice shots tbh :)
