Outlook Hotlinks

Hi all, When I type in a web address in an Outlook e-mail it used to automatically create a weblink. For some reason, when I type in an address it now just appears as text. Anyone know how I can fix this?

what version of outlook ? what format is the mail eg html , plaintext?

what happens if you type say for exaple the word test then go to insert hyperlink and add maybe www.google.ie

I only have 2007 installed so cant check in another verison for you but this is how it works for 2007

tools - Options - Spelling tab - Auto Correct button -
"AutoFormat" tab - check the box under "Replace" re: "internet and network
paths with hyperlinks."
