    Thursday September 4 - "Inter-county EC Final"

    It's into the final of the 4 x 7 day Electric City relay. First up with the batons are Paudi Ahern & Niall Power - our friends from the country. First up is Paudi who was based in Tralee for a long time and we heard about his reputation before we actually heard him. However, once we got a couple of CDs in the post, it wasn't long before we had invited him up to play. Super-slick skills and killer track selection whether it be electro, techno or house ensured Paudi rocked it every time. A recent winner of the iDJ Raw Talent award but there's nothing raw about this man's talent in our book so get down to check him out in the flesh. Finishing up is Niall Power and Niall is one of our nearest and dearest and we've done many a gig swap through the years at Electric Circus down in Waterford. Aside from the EC residents, he's put on some of the biggest names in techno including Dave Clarke & Green Velvet but always backing those names up by going out on a limb for introducing Transparent Sound, Mike Grant and other more leftfield names to the Waterford massive. A hard-rocking DJ, Niall will be taking the baton round the bend to pass to the EC residents for the second leg next week.

    Just to let you know that tickets are now sale from Beat Finder and Spindizzy for the last night and the next Electric Shock on October 11 with Mathew Jonson [Live], I-F & B-D.
