Web design part time courses

Hi, I'm currently looking at part time web design courses, more the design rather than the development side. I've found one in Dublin business school and a distance learning one from the open university. Just thought i'd check with people if they know of any other good part time courses on design. Have you looked at the CMIT site http://www.cmit.ie/courses-web-design-distance-learning/fetac-certificate-in-web-design-level-5.html and the advanced course http://www.cmit.ie/courses-web-design-distance-learning/advanced_web_design_distance_learning.html
I was looking at doing these and was wondering if anyone else had heard anything about them. What course's were you looking at.

I've reviewed what I want to get from a course after I couldn't find a course for design that I was happy with.

Would you be hoping to use what you learn for work or just as a hobby, if its for work then i think that course still only covers the basics and some of it is dated. Paying €1000 for it IMO is not worth it and you would learn more from the online tutorials and books mentioned in the other posts i linked to, also what you would be learning would be up to date material. A lot of courses in colleges havent been updated in a number of years and things have moved on. Just my opinion on things anways, it depends on your own requirements at the end of the day but xhtml and css should be what you are looking to learn these days and most courses still offer html and table based design.
