    Well if you fancied something a bit more flash and higher resale value a Dell XPS 1330 or 1530 from the Dell Outlet would be a bit cheaper but PERHAPS riskier from a reliability POV.

    Thanks, had a quick look at the Outlet before but those models still seemed a bit above my price range. I'll keep an eye on it. Was looking at an Inspiron 13" in PC World for €650 though.

    Eh, I dunno. Never thought to ask :o I'm not getting this one through a retailer though, I'm not sure how I could find out.

    id never touch a HP laptop again, the black piano type covering over the screen makes it look nice and all, but their parts of notorious with failing.

    wifi, power on button, their hp quickplay interface ect...

    make sure u take out an extended warrenty if ur gonna keep it for over a year is my advice
